Gem is your typical Border Collie and always on the go. She is full of fun, enthusiasm, independence, and cheekiness! Which makes her an ideal search dog. She was born in a litter of 9 where she was the only female! When not training she loves nothing more than a long walk with her dog friends, especially by the river, where she does not swim but just likes to put her whole head under water! She also has a bad habit of rolling in unmentionable things and hence has to have a wash most days! Gem lives with 3 other dogs, 5 cats and lots of chickens and ducks, so has a lot to keep her entertained during the day. At the end of the day, when she has used up all that Collie energy, she loves nothing more than to lay upside down on the sofa and snore!
